DRDO revels development plans for 6000km ranged Agni-VI

(IDRW) : Defence Research and Development organisation (DRDO) in its last News Letter has reviled plans of Development of 6000 km ranged Agni-VI with Multiple warheads (MIRV), which will be able to target deeper in Europe and Asia Pacific and will have Ground based Missiles and also Submarine Launched Missiles, since new Development will not only boost India’s Ballistic missile capability, but also will enable India to reach deeper inside Europe.
Development of Submarine variant will be the game changer in Indian missile scenario, since this will enable Submarines to fire Agni-6 even when it’s far away from India waters and deep in Indian Ocean towards any adversary.
While newsletter also mentions that Shri Avinash Chander has been appointed Chief controller of R&D of Missiles and Strategic systems and will be heading key Agni Projects like Agni-2P (Prime) which is a modern and more advanced version of currently deployed Agni-2 missile systems, which had a first flight failure earlier this year, but more test will be conducted soon.
Another key development under this supervision will be development of canister launched 5000km ranged Agni-5, which will have its first test launch in next 6 months , Avinash Chander has been associated with other Agni Program too including Agni-1,Agni-2 and Agni-3 , but there has been lack of clarity on development of Submarine launched Agni-3SL  with range of 3500km which was supposed to be armed on India’s locally developed Nuclear Submarine INS Arihant which is carrying out Harbour Trials lately.
