According to a statement issued by the Federal Service of Russia, the issue of advanced payment of S-400 with India has been resolved. However, the project did not reveal the technical details of the project.
Advance payment for early delivery was to be made in 2019 itself.
Vladimir Drozhzhov, deputy director of Russia’s Defense Cooperation Agency, said in July that if Russia gets advance payment by the end of 2019, India will be handed the first missile defense system by 2020. will be given. Full delivery will be done by 2025.
What is S-400 Missile Defense System?
The S-400 missile system is an updated version of the S-300. It will also eliminate missiles and fifth generation fighter jets falling within a radius of 400 km. According to reports, this agreement was signed between India and Russia for $ 5.43 billion (about 39 thousand crores rupees).
