Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) together with its Indian partners prepares to participate in a tender of the Defense Ministry of India for the supply of dozens of systems with unmanned aerial vehicles, according to Jane's Defence Weekly.
IAI Group has signed with Indian companies Dynamatic Technologies and Elcom Systems an agreement on cooperation in the field of production, assembly and maintenance in India of unmanned aircraft systems developed by Israel Aerospace Industries.
It is noted that IAI plans to offer India its long-endurance Heron drones.
Executive Vice President of IAI, Shaul Shahar, noted that India is one of the main strategic partners of Israel in the past 25 years, which acquires Israeli unmanned systems.
