'ISJK is coming' flags raised in Srinagar after Friday prayers

In what could be a matter of concern for security forces, pro-ISIS flags carrying slogan "ISJK is coming" were raised near Jamia Masjid in Srinagar on Friday. ADVERTISEMENT Locals were seen raising pro-ISIS and pro-LeT flags in the area, soon after Friday prayers were completed in the mosque
Pro-ISIS and pro-Pakistani flags are seen quite often in the area, nowadays, to which both the state government as well as Centre has taken strong exception but no action has been taken so far.
Earlier, a report by the US claimed that ISIS is trying to set its foot in India but it was junked by Intelligence Bureau.
Earlier on July 18, protests erupted at some places in the Kashmir Valley on after the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers ended. Stone-pelting youths took to the streets in the Safa Kadal area of old city Srinagar as police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel used batons and tear smoke canisters to disperse the protesters.
At some places in Srinagar city, masked youths displayed Pakistan flags, but they were quickly dispersed by the police.
