Dhoni to fly in frontline Sukhoi fighter

New Delhi: India`s cricket captain MS Dhoni is all set to fly on a frontline Sukhoi fighter soon with the Indian Air Force (IAF) making him an offer as a goodwill gesture after the team`s memorable victory in the World Cup final.

Official sources said the offer was made by IAF chief Air Chief Marshal P.V. Naik when Dhoni called on him at his residence in New Delhi late Monday evening.

Dhoni was accompanied by his wife Sakshi.

All Air Marshal-ranked officers posted in Delhi were present during the meeting.

The air force chief and other officers congratulated Dhoni for the team`s World Cup victory against Sri Lanka in Mumbai on Saturday.
